It is time to Throw Your Old Oven Mitts Once And For All!

Potholders can be difficult for a disabled person to use. Often, they are too small and they shift in the hand. I can't recall the number of times I burned myself when I baked as a teenager, because the potholder shifted in my hand and my skin came in contact with the hot pan or baking sheet. Trust me, doing homework with a burn blister on your writing hand is NOT fun.

So, I was VERY excited to get these!

^^Me modeling the gloves^^

Even though the company says these are 'one size fits all,' these are better suited for smaller hands. Mama Melissa and both her parents tried them on after I did. Mama Melissa and her mom had no issues to get them on, however her father and I both had problems getting them on.

^^closeup of the detail of the gloves^^

Yes, they ARE hearts! Very cute detail.

I tried these out twice within 4 hours of having them. After fighting to get them on the first time, I grabbed the coffee carafe directly on the glass. It took at least 20 seconds for me to feel any heat through the gloves. I then used them while making dinner, which needed baking. I did not feel any heat from the baking sheet.

The MAIN problem disabled people will have using these gloves depends on the size of their hands and how twisted their hands are. If they have small, untwisted hands, they should have NO problems using these gloves.

You can order your own set from AYL on Amazon for $19.99

I love these gloves. They save my hands from getting burned and cooking is a little less dangerous for me!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
