Just Mayo mayonnaise

Hampton Creek™ Just Mayo

From their brouchure
What would the world look like if healthier food was affordable?

A question that became a movement.
So, what is Just Mayo?

Just Mayo is a vegan mayonnaise. It is
• Cholesterol-Free – Those with high cholesterol can now enjoy mayonnaise!
• Gluten-Free – Won't trigger Celiac disease!
• Sugar-Free – Diabetics can eat it!
• Egg-Free – No risk of Salmonella contamination
• Soy-Free
• Dairy-Free – Shelf stable
• Lactose-Free

It is made with pea protein, canola oil, white vinegar and spices.

I received a 4 pack of this mayonnaise. Each bottle is 8 oz and it's a squeeze bottle.

^^actual bottles I received^^

The flavors I received are Regular, Garlic, Sriracha and Chipotle. Let's look at each flavor.

This tasted EXACTLY like brand-name mayonnaise. I grew up eating Hellmann's or the store brand (Shurfine, Food Club, etc) and I seriously could NOT taste a difference between those mayonnaises and Just Mayo.

I love to eat 'meat' salads... Chicken salad is my favorite, but I will eat tuna salad if chicken salad is not available. I used this flavor to make some tuna salad when I was reviewing the Tuna Squish, and I found I could skip adding garlic powder to the tuna fish mixture. You can really taste the garlic flavor in this one.

I had never heard of Sriracha until Cassandra Morgan's October 2014 NatureBox unboxing/tasting video. Sriracha is a type of hot sauce, made with chili peppers, distilled vinegar, garlic, sugar, and salt.

Yes, this is spicy, but REALLY good. I've used this in my Buffalo Chicken salad, eliminating the need for Frank's RedHot sauce. I'd equate the 'flame' level with typical 'Hot' chicken wings.

This has nothing to do with the mexican restaurant of the same name. This is another hot and spicy flavor, with a bit of a smoke taste to it. No surprise, considering chipotles are smoke-dried ripe-red jalapeño peppers.

I found this to be the hotter of the two spicy flavors. Whereas the Sriracha flavor had a hot wing sauce and mayonnaise taste, the Chipotle flavor has a tabasco-jalepeno-mayonnaise taste to it. Not saying it was bad, but definitely spicier. Those who don't like spicy foods should avoid this one.

I don't see disabled people having an issue eating this mayonnaise. It avoids the major allergy triggers that many foods have. It also comes in squeeze bottles, which makes it easier to put on breads and other foods. The only trouble disabled people may have is actually opening/removing the safety seals under the lids. But I know able-bodied people who have trouble with those safety seals as well.

All 4 flavors of Just Mayo comes in 8 oz squeeze bottles, with the Regular flavor also coming in 16 oz jars, 30 oz jars, and 64 oz jars. All 4 flavors also come in 1 gallon food-service jugs. Please visit Hampton Creek for more info or Hampton Creek's storefront on Amazon to order.

If you are looking to avoid egg-based mayonnaise, whether for diet restrictions or personal reasons, Just Mayo is the PERFECT replacement.

A huge thank you to the PR ladies at Hampton Creek, Amanda, Morgan and Steph, for sending me the mayonnaise and allowing me to do a review for them!
