I am mainly a coffee drinker, but I did receive a bag of loose tea this past Christmas from an online friend. I wanted to try it, but I had NO way to make it. I didn't DARE try to put it through our Keurig machine... and I didn't feel like messing with emptying a commercial tea bag to refill it with the loose tea.

THE SEARCH IS OVER! THE TEA INFUSER DESIGNED WITH YOU IN MIND!
We took the old tea strainers, kept the positives and reinvented how tea infusers should work. We thought about the whole process of tea brewing, and wanted to design a tea infuser to allow you to enjoy more of the tea and less of the "inconveniences."
With the Smart Tea Infuser, you get…
TWICE THE VALUE
We enlarged the drip tray to make it function as a mug lid. Now you can keep your tea hot!
NO MORE FLOATING TEA LEAVES
The Smart Tea Infuser has diffusing holes that are small enough to retain the tea leaves in the infuser and allows ample water to flow into the infuser to brew a flavourful cup of tea.
HANDLE IS ALWAYS COOL
The handle is made of high grade silicon making it always cool to touch despite being placed in hot tea. In addition, there is a clip at the end of the handle which can be used to secure the infuser to the edge of the cup.

This is how it should be used...
Let me just cut to the point... It works. That's the MAIN point. It does 'brew' the tea without leaving any tea leaves in the cup.
However, disabled people are going to have a VERY difficult time opening this. I figured since the top of the strainer was silicone rubber, it would bend and pop open easy. It doesn't... which isn't a bad premise, since it locks the tea into the infuser. However, a disabled person will not be able to open this by themselves.
One suggestion I will make is to use an actual teacup with these. I used a thick coffee mug with this, and the clip-like handle would not sit on the side of the mug.
The Drinkkler Smart Tea Infuser is available from Amazon for $10.95.
The Drinkkler Smart Tea Infuser works as it should, but if your disability is with your hands, you will need help.
WOULD RECOMMEND: Yes, if you are able-bodied.
