Sometimes, Disabled people have trouble taking vitamins and supplements. We rely on our diets to get all our RDA of vitamins and minerals, but sometimes that's hard to do. That's where nutrition bars come in handy.

After being approved for these back in February, I never heard from the company again. I finally found an email for them and explained the situation. They agreed to send me 6 bars to review.

^^Bar I received^^

Simply put, this is a rice-based granola bar with fruit throughout it, although calling it actual 'fruit' is a stretch. Going by the ingredient label, it's more fruit purees and juice concentrates. There is also 4 fruit ingredients listed under 'Concentrates with Colouring Properties.' I'm not even sure what that means.

Overall, the flavor is decent. It's not overly sweet, but it's not bitter either. However, there is a STRONG aftertaste of sour milk or yogurt/yoghurt. This sour taste really puts me off. I usually don't mind sour tasting things (I used to eat the Sour Lemon Warchead candies in high school), but I don't care for the 'spoiled sour' taste.

The hardest part disabled people are going to have with these (minus any chewing issue the person may have) is actually opening the wrappers. I have moderately good dexterity and it was a bit hard to open the wrappers.

These are available from love.tullety.crafty on eBay.

Not too bad of a taste, but the sour milk aftertaste drives me away from actually purchasing them. I'd personally would purchase Kind© bars quicker.
WOULD RECOMMEND: Probably not.
