Clipping fingernails or toe nails can be difficult for someone with CP, or any disability involving the hands. Before this set, I had only found one pair that I actually adored. They had a swivel clipping head and there was a collection bin in the handle. I loved them because I could set the clipping head to 5 different positions and still clip the nail. Sadly, these broke about a year back and the store I bought them from doesn't seem to carry them any more.

These were my favorite clippers, because not only were they adjustable, they were also easy for my disabled hands to squeeze.

So when I was offered the chance to review the Easy Press Clippers, I was quite excited, because they seemed to have the same qualities as my old clippers, minus the swiveling head.

^^What I received^^

These are so super easy to squeeze. They clip the nail cleanly and precisely, with no bending of the nail, like other off-brands do. They also don't leave any jagged or 'feathered' edges on the nail. With other clippers, I've had to take nail files or emery boards to smooth out the roughness left by them.

When I received these, Mama Melissa and I had a good laugh about the label Amazon used for sorting purposes. Apparently these are supposed to be made for mens' use only.

^^What the label on the reverse says^^

Disabled people should have no issue using these. The 'trigger' swivels and flips freely, and it depresses very easily. The most problem I see disabled people having is with the outer box and the plastic shell the clippers sit in. I've been keeping these in the box until I did this review and I had trouble putting the plastic shell back in the outer box after each use. Otherwise, I don't foresee any issues with these for disabled people.

This is available from Amazon for $14.97.

Second best pair of clippers I've ever had. Just wish the clipping head swiveled. Then they would be perfect!
