I have some terrible foot odor. I have been known to toss away perfectly good shoes, just because the stench in them was very bad. No matter what I did, I could never seem to get rid of the smell. The odor was SO bad, I've actually had my cats HISS at my shoes.

So, I was excited to try this spray from Amare Terra.

NOTE: I do have Cerebral Palsy, a neurological disorder. This is why my hands movements are the way they are. You have been warned.

What I really liked about this is the scent. It's a very light and airy lemon mint smell. It kind of reminds me of fresh homemade lemonade with a sprig of mint tossed into it.

I purposely tried this the night I did my errands for July. Once I knew I'd be home for the night, I kicked my shoes off, loosened the laces as far as they would go and sprayed the insides of my sneakers to the point they were saturated. I then set them in a corner where they would not be disturbed and let them completely dry overnight.

The next morning, I sniffed them and the normal 'foot odor' scent was VERY faded, but still slightly detectable. I sprayed the shoes again and let them sit, running around in my slippers that day.

On July 4th, I tested them again and the 'foot odor' was gone entirely, leaving only the fresh lemony mint scent. I haven't needed to respray them yet.

Only problem I see disabled people having is working the 'trigger' on the bottle. This is your typical finger pump-style nozzle, so those with uncooperative fingers may have trouble pushing the nozzle down.

This is available from Amazon for $9.57.

Love the scent and how well it works, but I do wish the scent was a bit heavier.
