A few months ago, I ran out of shampoo in the middle of a shower. I didn't think it would hurt to use my body wash for shampoo. It would be a one time thing... what harm could it do?

Ever since then, my hair has been really dry... to the point where it seemed like my hair was making dreadlocks on its own.

I tried using Auusie Hair Insurance spray after washing it, but it would only work for a few hours. Then it would be right back to the dry and tangled mess. I was getting frustrated to the point of wanting to chop the damaged hair off and start anew.

^^What I received -- Excuse the glare^^

I was excited to get this mask treatment. In an attempt to repair my hair, I've been using it every other day along with the Herbal Essences Hello Hydration 2-in-1 Moisturizing Hair Shampoo & Conditioner and it has seemed to make SOME improvement. My hair stays softer long than a few hours and it seems to be easier to brush it out.

The hardest thing disabled people will have trouble with, is making sure the mask is fully worked through the hair. The directions say to use a comb, but I found it easier to use my hands and working it through that way. I felt my hair absorbed more of the product using my hands alone rather than a comb.

I'm still planning to cut my hair sometime, but now, it's for my own personal preference, not because I HAVE to in order to get rid of damaged hair.

This is available from Amazon for $16.99.

Repairs damaged hair and leaves it soft and smooth.
