The Vive dressing stick is a tool designed to make like easier for those who struggle with bending or have any kind of dexterity issue. Measuring 27" long this dressing aid is perfect for assisting in putting on or taking off clothing and the plastic vinyl coated tip ensures that it will not cause any damage to your clothing. The added zipper hook makes it easy to pull your zipper up and down. A perfect addition to any home.I usually have no complaints with Vive products. They are quality made, this being no exception and I still use the shoehorn from them daily. But this is the first one I do have a complaint with.
This says it's supposed to help put on socks, the one bane to my independence with dressing. However, there are NO instructions with it. I seriously have NO clue how I am supposed to use this to put my socks on. I tried using the S-shaped hook and I couldn't figure out how to get my foot into the 'leghole' of the sock. The sock wouldn't even stay on the C-hook on the other end of the stick.

The one upswing to this stick is it does help to remove the socks and/or shoes, but my individual problem is putting these clothing items ON, not taking them off.
If a disabled person has trouble with any other article of clothing, this will be a god-send to them. But if your only trouble is socks, order an actual sock aid.
I'll gladly edit this review if I figure out how to use this to put on socks.
This is available from Amazon for $14.99.
Great for any type of clothing... except socks.
WOULD RECOMMEND: Not Really
