I'm normally an Android girl, but I was supposed to be getting an iPhone 5S from a friend in Australia... however, I have not received it yet. So I borrowed another friend's iPad for this review.

^^What I received^^

I like how long this wire is. It's 6 feet long, so you can easily run it from a wall outlet behind a bed or nightstand with plenty of 'slack' to it. It has the thickness of a heavy-duty landline wire. The USB and lightning ports look and feel to be securely in their respective ends.

My friend was concerned that this cord would cause damage to her iPad, but after plugging it in and seeing the iPad didn't 'reject' the wire, she was impressed. She said it's hard to find long cords/wires that the iDevices don't reject with the dreaded 'Device not Supported' message. With iJoy's wires being Apple-Certified, that message won't be displayed. Being it is Apple-Certified, It also won't give your iDevice a nasty virus, like some off-brand charging wires can.

^^Connectors inside their plastic tray^^

The good thing for disabled people is the lightning port itself. Even with good hand dexterity, I have so much trouble with microUSB ports. I'm always plugging them in the wrong way, and in the dark or low light situations, it's a total pain. With the lightning port, it really doesn't matter what way the connector is, it will plug in. Major bonus for those with shaky hands. Only reason I deducted a star was the packaging. The plastic tray the wire ships in holds the connectors a bit too tightly and is hard to pull out of their slots.

This is available from Amazon for $7.99.

Good quality and safe wire for an even better price... you seriously can't go wrong with this wire.
