Comfy Buttons for Jeans, by Comfy Clothiers, are a great way to add a little extra room in the waist area of your jeans. Using these Comfy Buttons is super easy and only takes a moment. At one end there is a button slot that you connect to the button on your jeans. At the other end there is a metal button that you put through the button slot on your jeans. Voila! Now you can breathe again! Features two slots to allow between 1/2" and 2" of extra space. You are viewing our 3-pack which comes with 3 jeans extenders. One is black, one is navy blue and one is a medium denim blue in color, so they will be sure to match most any pair of jeans. If you need waist extenders for your jeans, then look no further as you've find the perfect product. These are 100% cotton and are machine washable. They feature METAL buttons not plastic like some cheap alternatives. Works great for jeans and also works for jean shorts or denim shirts with buttoned-style fasteners. Each extender is denim material, and is not elastic. My weight fluctuates a lot, whether it's because of my cycle or depending on how much or little I eat. I didn't want to get separate jeans just for these time, so I was excited to get these to try and review.
However, you don't gain as much room as the company claims. I only had what seemed like an extra inch to my jeans. My jeans still felt tight and uncomfortable. They did make buttoning my jeans easier, but it kind of felt like they dug into my waist more.
^^What I received^^
The main problem disabled people will have with these extenders is how stiffly the button holes work. I needed Mama Melissa's help to get the extender's hole over the original jean button. I'm not saying this won't loosen up with continued use, but the first few times will be extremely difficult for disabled hands. However, The extender's button will work just like the original jean button.
Disabled people may want to look at elastic style extenders instead of these.
This is available from Amazon for $10.99.
Great for those that have fluctuating weight, but a bit tough for disabled people to use.
WOULD RECOMMEND: Only if you have help to get dressed.
