Chewy Blogger - February 2017

Chewy.com

ABOUT CHEWY.COM
We’re dog and cat lovers who want only the best-quality products for our pets. And we’re always on the go. That’s why we created Chewy.com: a specialty pet retailer stocking the very best brands under one roof, with fast delivery right to yours.

Consider us your neighborhood pet store, but better. We’re knowledgeable and always ready to answer your questions. But you won’t have to lug that fifty-pound bag of dog food to your car because we’ll deliver it right to your door.
February was our ninth month with Chewy (and Chase's 2nd Birthday!!!), and because Chase had a LOT of treats left from other months and also what we buy for him, I narrowed it down to one product for this month. Let's have a look at what we were sent!

Newman's Own Organics Chicken Hip & Joint Snack Sticks Dog Treats
If you took all the best ingredients for joint pain relief and added the delicious flavor of chicken, you’d end up with Newman's Own Organics Chicken Hip & Joint Snack Sticks Dog Treats. These dog-pleasing treat sticks contain green lipped mussels for their anti-inflammatory power and turmeric, a natural remedy for stiff joints. Glucosamine and chondroitin are found naturally in green lipped mussels, and even more has been added to the recipe to help repair joint tissue and cartilage. Newman’s Own Organics treats are gluten- and grain-free with no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives. Your pup is getting only high-quality ingredients in this tasty treat, and you can feel good knowing that Newman’s Own donates 100% of their profits to charity.

~You'll feel great rewarding your dog with this treat knowing it can benefit their overall hip and joint health

As I've said before, Chase is a poultry dog. He will scarf down the chicken and turkey treats we give him with no hesitation.
He's also a Chihuahua mix (Going by pics, he's a cheagle), so the vets we've taken him to have already told us he will have joint issues when he gets older.
So, trying to stay pro-active about that, when I saw these as an offer in February, I immediately put my request in for a bag.
He likes these, but NOT as much as the the Le Pooch Beef Jerky sticks or the the Hill's Science Diet Flexi-Stix Jerky with Real Turkey Dog Treats. On days we give him these, he will eat a little here and there throughout the day.
What I liked the most about these treats is that they are aimed for hip and joint issues in mind, and that's exactly what Chase needs.

As with most treat bags, these treats have the ‘Ziploc’ style seal, and if not lined up properly, may not seal tightly, or in this case, the bag tore completely UNDER the Ziploc Seal. This is the MAIN issue I see disabled people having with these treats. However, The plus side to ordering from chewy.com is they deliver right to your door. For someone disabled, who maybe doesn't drive or relies on public transportation, this is completely helpful.

The Newman's Own Organics Snack Sticks Dog Treats are available at chewy.com in Lamb, Chicken, and Salmon flavors. Please click the link above to see pricing.

FINAL THOUGHTS
I made another great selection in February! Chase loves his goodies from Chewy.com! He gets so excited when the 'blue box' arrives each month!
