Apple Cinnamon Toaster Pastry
More passionate than Cleopatra and Anthony, more enduring than Liz and Richard, more comfortable than Bert and Ernie. Apple and Cinnamon: THE match made in heaven.
Like biting into paradise
“AAA” is for Absolutely Amazingly Apple
No wonder William Tell made overtures.
Go ahead. Make your day.
An Apple Toaster Pastry a day keeps the smile on your face.
A little less sweet than the Brown Sugar & Cinnamon Pop-Tarts I am accustomed to, but they weren’t too bad. I really liked the apple flavor in these as well. They also seemed to have more filling than the Pop-Tarts, which is definitely a good thing.
Animal Crackers – Original
Safari so goodie!
Stalk the hungry hippo. Track down the ferocious elephant. Wrestle the wiley lion cub. Unlike the traditional big game hunter, when the safari is over, You’ll be stuffed.
I really could not tell the difference between these crackers and the commercial variety. Same taste, same crunch… I tasted more graham cracker in these than in the actual graham Animal Crackers (see below).
Animal Crackers – Graham
Comfort food by the handful!
See the dainty lion dance with the bearded buffalo, the calico cub on the flying trapeze and the vaulting camel tame the man-eating goat. Proof – to children of all ages – that you’re never too old to giggle.
I didn’t seem to taste the graham in these; I tasted what I think was a gingersnap-like taste. Not as soft as the original Animal Crackers, but still delicious.
She’s a bit of a country girl at heart, comfortable and confident and always ready to speak her mind. Freckled with poppy seeds and a sexy wisp of rosemary, she’s got the crunch to kick off her shoes and do-si-do to whatever tune is playing. But turn her loose in haute cuisine and she’ll make those city boys swoon. You can take her anywhere and everywhere. Just don’t expect her to be anything but herself.
Even though I consider myself a ‘junk food junkie,’ I notice I gravitate to ‘healthy’ crackers and cracker-like snacks. I really liked all the different seeds and grains in these crackers, and they even had a buttery taste to them.
Rosemary & Olive Oil Crackers
They’re inseparable. Bosom buddies and the best of friends, together they can conquer the world. (Just imagine what they can do for a snack!) These earthy rosemary and olive oil delights go hand-in-hand with cheeses, dips, salads and anything else your imagination can cook up. Just don’t resist the temptation to munch them straight from the box. After all, what are best friends for?
These were okay, but I’m not a huge fan of anything Rosemary flavored. Rosemary seems to leave a strange taste in my mouth. The olive oil tasted fine, but I felt the Rosemary ruined these crackers.
Pile on the cheese, heap on the veggies, smear on the paté, load up the savories, shovel up the dips – no matter how you stack it, these are flat-out great pretzel chips.
Take a pretzel and flatten it out. You now have these Pretzel Chips. I couldn’t tell a difference between these and normal, ‘round’ pretzels. I like pretzels as it is, so these were delicious.
Honey Mustard Pretzels
Passion plays a savory sweet tango that hits a spot you didn’t even know you had. Flushed with excitement and dressed in a daring yearning that begs more, more and even more.
In a word, YUM! The honey flavoring was just right, and the mustard didn’t overpower the taste of the honey or the pretzel itself. I think it tasted BETTER that some of the national brands, to be honest.
The biggest problem I see for disabled people (minus any chewing issues) is, like with most snack foods, actually opening the snacks themselves may be an issue as well. I had to use scissors (or ask Mama Melissa) to open some of the packages.
